(1)(1)(a) Upon request of a peace officer investigating an accident involving a motor vehicle, the operator of the motor vehicle shall provide evidence of the owner's or operator's security required under Section 41-12a-301.
(1)(b) The evidence of owner's or operator's security includes information specified under Section 41-12a-303.2.
(2)The peace officer shall record on a form approved by the department:
(2)(a) the information provided by the operator;
(2)(b) whether the operator provided insufficient or no information;
(2)(c) whether the officer finds reasonable cause to believe that any information given is not correct; and
(2)(d) whether other information available to the peace officer indicates that owner's or operator's security is in effect.
