§ 41-6a-1507 — Custom vehicles -- Defined -- Compliance with all laws and standards -- Exceptions -- Revocation -- Signed statement required.
(1)(1)(a) As used in this section, "custom vehicle" means a motor vehicle that:
(1)(a)(i) (1)(a)(i)(A) is at least 25 years old and of a model year after 1948; or
(1)(a)(i)(B) (1)(a)(i)(B)(I) was manufactured to resemble a vehicle that is at least 25 years old and of a model year after 1948; and
(1)(a)(i)(B)(II) (1)(a)(i)(B)(II)(Aa) has been altered from the manufacturer's original design; or
(1)(a)(i)(B)(II)(Bb) has a body constructed of non-original materials; and
(1)(a)(ii) is primarily a collector's item that is used for:
(1)(a)(ii)(A) club activities;
(1)(a)(ii)(B) exhibitions;
(1)(a)(ii)(C) tours;
(1)(a)(ii)(D) parades;
(1)(a)(ii)(E) occasional transportation; and
(1)(a)(ii)(F) other similar uses.
(1)(b) A custom vehicle does not include:
(1)(b)(i) a motor vehicle that is used for
