Text
(1)"Mobile carrier" means an electrically powered device that:
(1)(a) is operated on a sidewalk or crosswalk;
(1)(b) is intended primarily for the transport of property while remaining within 25 feet of the human operator;
(1)(c) weighs less than 150 pounds, excluding cargo;
(1)(d) has a maximum speed of 12.5 miles per hour;
(1)(e) is equipped with a technology to transport personal property with the active monitoring of a personal property owner; and
(1)(f) is primarily designed to remain within 25 feet of the personal property owner.
(2)A mobile carrier is not a vehicle or personal delivery device as defined in Section 41-6a-1119.
(3)A mobile carrier may be operated on a sidewalk or crosswalk if all of the following requirements are met:
