Text
(1)The following are qualified identification number inspectors:
(1)(a) the commission;
(1)(b) designated officers and employees of the division;
(1)(c) a person operating a safety inspection station under Title 53, Chapter 8, Part 2, Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection Act;
(1)(d) an official inspection station certified inspector;
(1)(e) a dealer licensed under Subsection 41-3-202(1), (2), (3), or (4);
(1)(f) all peace officers or designated employees of law enforcement agencies of the state;
(1)(g) all peace officers of the federal government, another state, the District of Columbia, or Canada; or
(1)(h) other qualified identification number inspectors expressly authorized by the division.
