§ 41-1a-418 — Authorized special group license plates.
Utah·Title 41 Motor Vehicles·Ch. 41-1a Motor Vehicle Act·Part 41-1a-4 License Plates and Registration Indicia
(1)In accordance with this chapter, the division shall issue to an eligible applicant a special group license plate in one of the following categories:
(1)(a) a disability special group license plate issued in accordance with Section 41-1a-420;
(1)(b) a special group license plate issued for a:
(1)(b)(i) vintage vehicle;
(1)(b)(ii) farm truck; or
(1)(b)(iii) special group license plate described in Section 41-1a-1602.
(2)The division may not issue a new type of special group license plate or symbol decal unless the division receives:
(2)(a) a private donation for the start-up fee established under Section 63J-1-504 for the production and administrative costs of providing the new special group license plate or symbol decal; or
(2)(b) a legislative appropriation for the start-up fee descri
