§ 41-1a-233 — Conditional registration for new commercial motor vehicles.

(1)As used in this part:
(1)(a) "Manufacturer's statement of origin" means a statement or certificate from the motor vehicle manufacturer that shows:
(1)(a)(i) the date of sale from the manufacturer to the first purchaser;
(1)(a)(ii) the name of the first purchaser;
(1)(a)(iii) a description of the motor vehicle, including the year, make, model, and vehicle identification number; and
(1)(a)(iv) a certification that the motor vehicle was new when sold to the first purchaser.
(1)(b) "Passenger rental car establishment" means an establishment described in NAICS subsector 532111 of the 2022 North American Industry Classification System of the federal Executive Office of the President, Office of Management and Budget.
