Text

(1)Individuals wishing to circulate a referendum petition shall file a referendum application with the local clerk.
(2)The referendum application shall include:
(2)(a) the name and residence address of at least five sponsors of the referendum petition;
(2)(b) a statement indicating that each of the sponsors is registered to vote in Utah;
(2)(c) a statement indicating whether persons gathering signatures for the referendum petition may be paid for gathering signatures;
(2)(d) the signature of each of the sponsors, acknowledged by a notary public; and
(2)(e) (2)(e)(i) if the referendum challenges an ordinance or resolution, a copy of the ordinance or resolution; or
(2)(e)(ii) if the referendum challenges a local law that is not an ordinance or resolution, a written description of the loca
