Text

(1)An election officer shall ensure that ballots are printed:
(1)(a) to a size and arrangement that fits the construction of the ballot counting device; and
(1)(b) in plain, clear type in black ink on clear white stock; or
(1)(c) in plain, clear type in black ink on stock of different colors if it is necessary to:
(1)(c)(i) identify different ballots or parts of the ballot; or
(1)(c)(ii) differentiate between political parties.
(2)For a race in which a voter is authorized to cast a write-in vote and in which a write-in candidate is qualified under Section 20A-9-601, the election officer shall include a space on the ticket for a write-in candidate immediately following the last candidate listed on that ticket.
(3)Notwithstanding any other provisions of this section, the election officer
