Text

(1)Except as provided in Subsection (2), an individual may register to vote in an election who:
(1)(a) is a citizen of the United States;
(1)(b) has been a resident of Utah for at least the 30 calendar days immediately before the election;
(1)(c) will be:
(1)(c)(i) at least 18 years of age on the day of the election; or
(1)(c)(ii) if the election is a regular primary election, a municipal primary election, or a presidential primary election:
(1)(c)(ii)(A) 17 years of age on or before the day of the regular primary election, municipal primary election, or presidential primary election; and
(1)(c)(ii)(B) 18 years of age on or before the day of the general election that immediately follows the regular primary election, municipal primary election, or presidential primary election; and
