Sec. 8834.057. APPLICABILITY OF OPEN MEETINGS LAW.

(a)The board shall give notice of board meetings as provided by Chapter 551 , Government Code. Failure to provide notice of a regular meeting or an insubstantial defect in notice of any meeting does not affect the validity of any action taken at the meeting.
(b)A meeting of a committee of the board is not subject to Chapter 551 , Government Code, if less than a quorum of the board is present at the meeting.
