Sec. 8506.107. AUTHORITY PROPERTY; EMINENT DOMAIN.

(a)The authority may acquire, maintain, use, and operate property of any kind or any interest in property, inside or outside the boundaries of the authority, necessary or convenient to the exercise of the powers, rights, privileges, and functions conferred on the authority by this chapter. The authority may acquire the property or interest in property by purchase, lease, gift, exercise of the power of eminent domain, or any other manner.
(b)The authority must exercise the power of eminent domain in the manner provided by:
(1)Chapter 21 , Property Code; or
(2)the statutes relating to condemnation by districts organized under general law pursuant to Section 59 (a), Article XVI, Texas Constitution.
