Sec. 2025.001. COMMISSION LICENSING DUTIES.

(a)To preserve and protect the public health, welfare, and safety, the commission shall adopt rules relating to license applications and the financial responsibility, moral character, and ability of applicants. (a-1) The commission shall comply with Chapter 53 in the administration of the commission's licensing program.
(b)The commission shall prescribe application forms for licenses issued under this subtitle and shall provide each occupational license holder with a credential.
(c)The commission shall annually prescribe reasonable license fees for each category of license issued under this subtitle.
(d)The commission by rule shall set fees in amounts reasonable and necessary to cover the commission's costs of regulating, overseeing, and lice
