Sec. 1508.253. REIMBURSEMENT REQUEST SUBMISSION.

(a)A health benefit plan issuer seeking reimbursement from the fund shall submit a request for reimbursement in the form prescribed by the commissioner by rule.

(b)A health benefit plan issuer must request reimbursement from the fund annually, not later than the date determined by the commissioner, following the end of the calendar year for which the reimbursement requests are made.

(c)The commissioner may require a health benefit plan issuer participating in the program to submit claims data in connection with reimbursement requests as the commissioner determines to be necessary to ensure appropriate distribution of reimbursement funds and oversee the operation of the fund.
