Sec. 1506.052. AUTHORITY FOR PARKING FACILITIES.
(a)A municipality may establish, acquire, lease as lessor or lessee, construct, improve, enlarge, equip, repair, operate, or maintain a structure, parking area, parking garage, or facility for off-street parking or storage of motor vehicles or other conveyances.
(b)The municipality may:
(1)regulate the use of a facility authorized by Subsection (a); and
(2)establish charges for use of the facility.
