Art. 5421d. PATENTS TO LANDS FORMERLY CLAIMED AS IN NEW MEXICO. Sec.

1.That the Commissioner of the General Land Office is authorized and requested to prepare and issue, and the Governor is authorized to execute and deliver, patents for the lands and accretions thereto, heretofore claimed by New Mexico to be in that state, but determined by the Supreme Court of the United States by Decree entered April 9, 1928 (New Mexico against Texas, 276 U.S. 556) to be in Texas, to the persons who, on April 9, 1928, were in actual bona fide possession of said lands and claiming title to such lands under patent from the United States. Sec.
2.In order to receive a patent under this Act, the person desiring such patent shall first make written application to the Commissioner of the General Land Office,
