Tennessee·Title 40
(a)No claim against the state for payment of costs under this chapter shall be paid unless the claim is submitted to the department of correction within six (6) months from the date of entry of the judgment of conviction.
(b)[Repealed effective June 30, 2019.] However, for good cause shown, the commissioner of correction, or the commissioner's representative, may extend this limitation period for an additional six (6) months.
