Text
As used in this part, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)"Administrative director" means the administrative director of the courts;
(2)"Court" means any court of this state exercising jurisdiction over any criminal action which is punishable by confinement in the state penitentiary;
(3)"Criminal case" means the trial of any criminal offense which is punishable by confinement in the state penitentiary and any proceeding for the writ of habeas corpus wherein the unlawful confinement is alleged to be in a state, county or municipal institution; and (4) "Judge" means the judge of any court of this state exercising jurisdiction over any criminal action which is punishable by confinement in the state penitentiary.
