§ 40-11-209 — Certificate of district attorney general

The district attorney general for the district in which the sale is to be made shall thereupon issue and deliver a certificate to the sheriff of the county conducting the sale, where the land or lands are situated. The certificate shall be in the following words and figures: State of Tennessee, County of ____________________ ______________ day of ______________ (year) I, ______________, district attorney general for the ____________________ judicial district do hereby certify that I have purchased on the ____________________ day of ______________ (year) on behalf of and in the name of the State of Tennessee at a sale under execution at the courthouse, in ______________ County, Tennessee from ______________ the sheriff of ______________ County, said execution having been issued to collect t
