Text
(a)Officers of elections, judges, machine operators, and inspectors shall be paid for their services on election day a minimum of fifty dollars ($50.00). Compensation for such persons shall be paid as soon as possible after the election. The compensation may be increased by the county legislative body.
(b)Notwithstanding subsection (a), a person may volunteer to provide services under subsection (a) without compensation.
