Text
(a)When an administrator of elections receives the notice provided by § 2-2-123 , the administrator shall immediately attach the notice to the permanent registration records of the voter.
(b)When a voter requests cancellation of registration, or the voter's registration is purged, the administrator shall cancel the registration by writing on the face of the permanent registration record of the voter "Registration terminated this ______________ because ______________ (Date) ______________" The cancellation shall be signed by the administrator.
(c)The permanent registration records of the voter shall be placed in an alphabetically arranged file of purged registrations which shall be a public record. The file of purged registrations shall be retained by the county election commission for t
