Text
When acting as the state primary board of its party, the state executive committee shall operate subject to the following provisions:
(1)The chair and secretary of the committee, duly elected under the rules of the political party, shall be the chair and secretary of the board;
(2)Unless elected to the committee under § 2-13-103 , the chair shall vote only in the event of a tie vote among the members and the secretary shall not vote; and (3) If there is not a quorum at a properly called meeting, the members present may adjourn from day to day and may treat the absence of a member after the first day of the meeting as a temporary vacancy unless there is known to be good cause for the absence. The members present may fill the vacancy for that meeting only.
