Text

The department shall suspend for one year the hunting and fishing privileges of a person who has eighteen or more points. The suspension begins the twenty-first day after the department mails written notice of the suspension, and ends the same day the following year.

Effect of Amendment 2023 Act No. 64, SECTION 3.A, in the second sentence, substituted "twenty-first day" for "eleventh day" and "department mails written notice" for "person receives written notice by mail, return receipt requested,".
