Text
After the filing of the petition with the court, the court shall give notice of the hearing to the following persons:
(a)the individual for whom involuntary commitment is sought;
(b)the parent, spouse, personal representative, or legal guardian, if any;
(c)the person filing the petition;
(d)the attorney representing the individual for whom involuntary commitment is sought;
(e)the head of the treatment facility if the individual is in a treatment facility; and (f) any other person the court determines shall have notice of the proceedings. The notice shall include the date, time, and place of hearing, a clear statement in plain and simple language of the purpose of the proceedings, and the possible consequences to the individual for whom involuntary commitment is sought; a copy of the p
