§ 24-5-110 — Return to court of names of prisoners.

South Carolina·Title 24 CORRECTIONS, JAILS, PROBATIONS, PAROLES AND PARDONS·Ch. 5 JAILS AND JAILERS
A facility manager shall make a return to the court of general sessions of his county on the first day of the term of the name of every prisoner and the time and cause of his confinement, whether civil or criminal. The use of electronic records satisfies this requirement.

Effect of Amendment The 2010 amendment, in the first sentence substituted "A facility manager" for "Every Sheriff" and "the court" for "every court", and added the second sentence relating to electronic records.
