A person who sells beer and wine pursuant to a permit issued in accordance with Sections 61-4-500, 61-4-520, and 61-4-540 of the 1976 Code and who closes his business establishment or refrains from operating his business on Saturdays for religious reasons may be allowed, upon the filing of an affidavit of closing on Saturdays for religious reasons with and the payment of an additional fee of fifty dollars to the department, to open for business and sell beer and wine on Sundays, as specified in Sections 61-4-120, 61-4-130, and 61-4-140 in those counties which authorize Sunday beer sale permits.
