Text

The department shall:

(1)classify all positions under Chapters 27 through 41 of this title except those exempted by the Federal Social Security Act or regulations of the Secretary of Labor or his successors; and (2) establish salary schedules and minimum personnel standards. These standards must conform to the minimum standards prescribed under the provisions of Section 303(a)(1) of the Federal Social Security Act, as amended, and applicable state law and regulations.
