§ 34-28-910 — Effect on existing associations.

South Carolina·Title 34 BANKING, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND MONEY·Ch. 28 SAVINGS ASSOCIATIONS
The name, rights, powers, privileges, and immunities of associations heretofore incorporated in this State are governed, controlled, construed, extended, limited, and determined by the provisions of this chapter to the same extent and effect as if the association had been incorporated pursuant thereto. The articles of incorporation, certificate of incorporation, charter, bylaws, constitution, and other rules of these associations heretofore made or existing are hereby modified, altered, and amended to conform to the provisions of this chapter, with or without the issuance or approval by the Board of conformed copies of these documents, and the same are declared void to the extent that they are inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter.
