§ 31-12-300 — Certification by county auditor; determination of value taxable property in project area.

South Carolina·Title 31 HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT·Ch. 12 REDEVELOPMENT OF FEDERAL MILITARY INSTALLATIONS AND OTHER DEFENSE SITES
(A)If a municipality authorizes by ordinance the issuance of obligations pursuant to Section 31-12-210, the auditor of the county in which the municipality is situated, immediately after adoption of the ordinance pursuant to Section 31-12-210 and upon request of the municipality, shall determine and certify:
(1)the most recently ascertained equalized assessed value of all taxable real property within the redevelopment project area, as of the date of creation of the authority pursuant to Section 31-12-200 or the date the properties were scheduled for disposal by final action of the federal government in the case of properties added after the date of creation of the authority, which value is the "initial equalized assessed value" of the property; and (2) the total equalized assessed value
