§ 60-11-60 — Director of department.
South Carolina·Title 60 LIBRARIES, ARCHIVES, MUSEUMS, AND ARTS·Ch. 11 ARCHIVES ACT AND CIVIL WAR SESQUICENTENNIAL ADVISORY BOARD
The active management and administration of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History shall be committed to the director, who at the time of his appointment must have the qualifications of special training or experience in archival or historical work. The director shall not do any additional work for pay without the permission of the Commission of Archives and History.
