§ 46-9.1-23. Appropriations.
The general assembly shall annually appropriate such sum as may be necessary to carry
            out the provisions of this chapter; and the state controller is authorized and directed
            to draw his or her orders upon the general treasurer for the payment thereof or so
            much thereof as may be necessary from time to time upon duly authenticated vouchers
            approved by the chairperson of the commission.
