§ 46-8-1. Definitions.
When used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall be construed as follows:
(1) "Licensing authorityâ€� means the department of environmental management.
         
(2) "Outboard motorâ€� means any marine motor not permanently fastened to a boat so as to be an integral
            part of the boat and/or any marine motor which is portable.
         
(3) "Territorial limitsâ€� has the same meaning as defined in § 42-1-1.
