§ 46-5-16. Yacht and boat moorings.

(a) The director of the department of environmental management shall expend such funds as are annually appropriated in purchasing, installing, and maintaining yacht and boat moorings in such harbors in Rhode Island waters as he or she may deem advisable and suitable.

(b) The sum of five hundred dollars ($500) is hereby annually appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the maintenance of such yacht and boat moorings as the director of the department of environmental management may have installed in the harbors of Narraganse
