§ 46-27-3. Enforcement.

The department of environmental management, division of boating safety, is empowered to enforce the provisions of this chapter. In addition thereto, the police officers of all localities, and the harbormasters of all localities are empowered to enforce all provisions of this chapter. The harbormaster of any locality, or where there is none, the governing body of any locality is empowered and authorized to establish reasonable speed limits for the operation of any personal watercraft in any area within their jurisdiction.
