§ 46-15.1-2.3. Officers of the board — Quorum and vote required for action.
Forthwith, and upon the enactment of this chapter, and annually in the month of March, thereafter, the board shall elect one of its public members as chairperson, one of its public members as vice chairperson, and shall also elect a secretary either from its membership or its technical staff. The board may elect from among its members such other officers as it deems necessary. Nine (9) voting members of the board constitutes a quorum. A majority vote of those present and voting shall be required for action. No vacancy in the membership of the board shall impair the right of
