§ 46-15.1-2.2. Qualifications of members.
(a) Each public member of the board, before entering upon his or her duties, shall take an oath to administer the duties of his or her office faithfully and impartially, and the oath shall be filed in the office of the secretary of state.
(b) No member of the board shall be in the employ of, or own any stock in, or be in any way directly or indirectly financially interested in any private corporation or company engaged in the supply, storage, distribution, or sale of water.
