§ 32-1-13. Authority to obtain federal assistance.

The director is authorized for and on behalf of the state, with the approval of the governor, to apply for and accept from the federal government or any department or agency thereof assistance that may become available for the purposes of §§ 32-1-11 — 32-1-13, whether it be in the form of a loan or grant or otherwise; to accept the provisions of any federal legislation or regulations therefor; to enter into contracts in connection therewith; and to act as agent for the federal government in connection therewith or to designate a subordinate so to act.
