§ 23-9-8. Unauthorized departure from vessel under quarantine.
Every person who shall leave any ship or vessel under order of quarantine without
            permission from the health officer or the city or town council of that city or town,
            shall be fined not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00); and the city or town council
            may order that person to be returned on board of that vessel, and to remain there
            until the council orders him or her to be dismissed.
