§ 23-1-15. Providing a physician for New Shoreham.

Whenever it appears that the town of New Shoreham does not have a duly licensed physician in attendance, the director of health, with the approval of the governor, may request duly qualified state physicians from any department within the state government to accept assignment to be in residence there and to serve the people of the town of New Shoreham in the general practice of medicine. The town of New Shoreham shall provide the doctor with suitable living quarters and office facilities including light and heat free of charge, and the doctor shall charge regular fees for his or her services
