§ 23-8-19. Compliance with quarantine by transportation agencies.

Whenever quarantine is declared, all railroad and steamboat corporations, stage lines, the owners, assignees, officials, and employees of those companies, and all vehicles and modes of conveyance of passengers, baggage, and freight, shall observe and comply with the rules and regulations made by the director of health; and any person knowingly violating any of the rules and regulations of the director shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than fifty dollars ($50.00), or be imprisoned not more than two
