§ 23-63-2. Disposal of used vehicle rubber tires — Burning prohibited — Storage restricted.

(a)(1) No person shall dispose of any vehicle tire within the state except by delivery of the tire to a facility operated by the Rhode Island resource recovery corporation designated for that purpose, or to a privately operated tire storage or tire recycling or recovery facility licensed by the director of environmental management for that purpose or by delivery for transportation to an out-of-state recycling facility.
