§ 23-6.3-1. Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to reduce vulnerability to HIV/AIDS transmission, protect
            persons who are infected with HIV from discrimination, ensure informed consent for
            testing, and to provide consistent terms and standards within this title and as applicable
            to chapters 34.1 and 37 of title 11, chapter 28 of title 21, and chapter 24 of title 40.1.
