§ 23-6.1-2. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation training program established.

(a) The department of elementary and secondary education shall establish a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training program for public high schools in the state. This program shall be conducted for a one-year pilot period and shall be coordinated by the department of elementary and secondary education.

(b) The training program shall be conducted in ten (10) public high schools during the year that the state pilot program is in existence.
