§ 23-4.1-14. Notification of next of kin or other member of household.

Whenever any person requires emergency medical transportation from their home or business establishment by any private or public ambulance or rescue vehicle, and no member of the patient's family, household or a business associate is present at the time of evaluation, the rescue team shall affix a sticker or other means of notification in the place of evaluation. The sticker shall note the patient's name if available and a telephone number where information can be obtained to ascertain the patient's whereabouts.
