§ 23-37-4. Unauthorized obstruction of hydrants.

Any person who shall obstruct or interfere with the use of any fire hydrant in any town, or city, by piles of lumber, building material, articles of merchandise, the excavation or removal of buildings, dirt or rubbish, or in any other way or manner, unless by permission of the town or city council, shall pay a fine not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00) for each offense.
