§ 23-28.5-7. Appeal to supreme court.

(a) Any person aggrieved by the final decree in the district court may appeal to the supreme court on any question of law or equity decided adversely to the appellant. The appeal shall follow the general procedure prescribed by the Workers' Compensation Act, chapters 29 — 37 of title 28.

(b) The claim of an appeal shall suspend the operation of any order or decree appealed from, but, in the case of default in taking the procedure required, the suspension shall cease, and the district court upon motion of any party shall proceed as if no claim of appeal has b
