§ 23-28.2-16. Fire records kept by the state fire marshal.
The state fire marshal shall keep in his or her office a record of all fires investigated
            by his or her office and of all the facts concerning the investigated fires, and all
            reports of the investigations as the fire marshal may cause to be made, including
            statistics as to the extent of the fires and damage caused thereby, and whether the
            losses were covered by insurance, and, if so, in what amount. The record shall be
            made from the reports made to the fire marshal by his or her deputies under the provisions
            of this chapter.
