§ 23-28.2-10. Reports of fires.
(a) Every fire occurring in this state shall be reported in writing to the state fire marshal's office within the first ten (10) days of the month following the month in which the fire occurred by the nonsalaried assistant deputy state fire marshals as may be designated for that purpose. The report shall be in the form prescribed by the state fire marshal and shall contain a statement of all facts relating to the cause and origin of the fire that can be ascertained, the extent of damage caused thereby, and the amount of insurance upon the property, and such other information as the state fire marsha
