§ 23-25.2-3. Pesticide relief advisory board established — Appointment of members.

(a) There is created a pesticide relief advisory board consisting of eleven (11) members: one member shall be the chairperson of the joint committee on the environment or his or her designee, ex officio, and is referred to as the legislative member; the other ten (10) members shall be referred to as public members, and shall be appointed as follows: one public member shall be a faculty member in the department of plant pathology and entomology at the University of Rhode Island, to be appointed by the governor; the lieutenant governor, the speaker of the house,
