§ 23-24.9-13. Existing inventories.
Those mercury-added products with a code or date of manufacture indicating they were
            manufactured prior to July 13, 2001 are exempt from § 23-24.9-6 — 23-24.9-8 and §§ 23-24.9-10 and 23-24.9-11. If the mercury-added product has a date of manufacture or the manufacturer can provide
            documentation that the product in question was manufactured prior to July 13, 2001,
            it is exempt from the above listed sections. Situations that are beyond the control
            of the manufacturer, such as old stock being held by retailers, should be addressed
            on a case-by-case basis.
