§ 23-24.5-22. Interpretation and severability.
The provisions of this chapter shall be liberally construed and shall be held to be
            in addition to, and not in substitution for a limitation of, the provisions of any
            other law. If any provision of this chapter or the application of this chapter to
            any person or circumstances is held invalid the remainder of the chapter and the application
            of these provisions to any other person or circumstances shall not be affected by
            this invalidity.
